Greystar Development Greenford

At the last Ward Forum on 12 September there was much discussion and concern about site traffic and the dirt and dust it raised together with the impact on traffic and travelling times and parking problems  that the proposed 1965 new homes, plus school, offices, retail and leisure facilities would generate.  The Councillors agreed to take action with regard to a meeting with transport planners to investigate further these concerns. It seems that little, if any, progress has been made on this with Councillors again blaming a slow reaction from Tfl.

However, it was recently announced that Greystar have sold a significant part of the site to Telford Homes for some £28 million.  Telford plan to build 278 additional homes of which 194 will be for sale for around half a million pounds and the remaining 84 for shared ownership sale at "affordable" selling prices.  How much extra traffic will these homes generate?

There doesn't appear to be any additional planning application on Ealing's web site at the moment although Telford say they intend to commence work on the site in mid 2019!
