The Manor Road Planning Appeal started on 13th July and is expected to last for 8 days. The Planning Inspector, chairing the Manor Road Tower appeal, visited the site yesterday. He was accompanied by representatives of Stop the Towers (STT) representing local residents who objected to the development, Ealing Council and Southern Grove (the Developer). He undertook a 3 hour long tour of the area.
The hearing resumes today and is expected to conclude tomorrow with a decision expected in the early autumn. To keep up to date with a summary of what happened at the appeal click here
We were blessed with fine weather for a good turnout for our first mass delivery get together in Cleveland on 10 July. There were representatives of all constituencies in Ealing as well as many wards in Ealing North. This is the first of many such group sessions we plan to hold.
We had another great turnout at our latest InTouch newsletter delivery session in Northolt last Saturday which meant we were able to cover more than two polling districts. We were very lucky with the weather and managed to dodge an earlier shower.
